Senator Leonard G Mishoe was from Greeleyville, South Carolina and operated one of the largest cotton gins in central
South Carolina. In addition, he owned a large fertilizer business that farmers across South
Carolina depended upon. Mishoe, was active in politics and represented Williamsburg County
in the state legislature. For years, he was the regional representative on the South Carolina
Board of Transportation.
