A business leader in the Charlotte area. Originally from Gastonia, he married a Charlotte
native and led Consolidated Coca-Cola for years. This Charlotte off ice is now the largest Coke
distributor in the country. An important road in Gastonia is named in his honor, Garrison
Boulevard, in recognition of his work on the NC DOT Commission and other community
endeavors.
